An armoured Police car kills siblings

A policeman driv­ing an Armoured Personnel Car­rier, APC, yesterday killed two children of the same parents in Egbedi area of Ilesa West Local Gov­ernment Area of Osun State.
Some residents of the area, who spoke with National Mirror on phone Sunday evening, said the policeman who drove the APC was al­legedly drunk when the accident happened.

The deceased, 5-year-old Sade, and her sister, Anu, said to be 3-year-old, it was further learnt, were playing in front of their father’s house when the vehicle hit and killed them on the spot, while the po­liceman drove away.
