Busted!! Robbery gang caught in the act in Benue

Police detectives from the Benue State Command have arrested members of an alleged robbery gang along the new Otukpo Road in Makurdi.
This was disclosed in the police first information report obtained by CAJ News.
The report stated that two operational vehicles used by the hoodlums  and the sum N2, 671 million were recovered from the suspects.

Police said they received a distress call that a robbery syndicate had snatched some money from a victim around Diamond Bank along the new Otukpo Road.
"Police patrol unit was immediately moved to the scene the  patrol unit on arrival saw the hoodlums leaving the scene and gave them a hot chase."
Police recovered the vehicles.
Police added that efforts were ongoing to apprehend the two other alleged gang members that fled the scene on foot.
The State Criminal Investigation Department in Makurdi is investigating the case
